Dropbox offers first-class support for Ubuntu
Popular cloud storage vendor Dropbox recently announced huge price cuts for its premium Dropbox Pro product. The changes represent a substantial increase in the amount of storage available per Dropbox account—one terabyte—for the same monthly fee.
For businesses, Dropbox offers excellent, first-class support for the Ubuntu operating system. Dropbox is available with a single click from Ubuntu's app store, and installation takes a matter of seconds. Once Dropbox is running, files and folders can be stored and shared in the cloud right from within Ubuntu:

A notification icon is visible at all times in Ubuntu to indicate when Dropbox is syncing data—while also giving immediate access to the Dropbox folder, a list of recently changed files, and other useful settings:

Dropbox's seamless integration with Ubuntu is one clear advantage over competing cloud storage products such as Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, both of which force customers to use a cumbersome web interface to upload and manage their data. With Dropbox also now lowering their pricing to bring it into line with the competition, it remains our favourite cloud storage solution more than ever. Dropbox also offer a dedicated enterprise-grade plan—and in conjunction with Ubuntu and the LibreOffice office productivity suite, businesses can reap the benefits of working in the cloud while minimising the risk of being locked into any one vendor.
